Bogota

In Bogota there are more than a thousand districts, divisions that constitute the constructed urban net. The higher economic layers are located in the north, in residences and buildings of apartments surrounded by tree zones and numerous parks and small squares of recreation. The popular districts are located to the south and to the south east and many of them are invasion districts.

The average sectors usually live in the central, western and nor-western portion of the city; in these zones the state has constructed joint houses of social interest.

Some districts are characterized by a type of commercial activity, like the Restrepo district; zone that has specialized in the elaboration and commercialization of leather footwear and articles, the sector of the race 30 between the streets 68 and 72 where obtains furniture out of wood, wicker and other materials.

The dimensions and the population rate of Kennedy or Bolivar City are of such magnitude, that they conform a kind of little cities within the city.

The city was classified in six economic layers partnered in order to facilitate among others the distribution of the entrance, to orient the policies published, to less recognize the sectors favored to offer them the possibilities of development and social investment and of structuring the city to assign the Serbian costs for its inhabitants.
